Timo Werner has scored twice to registered his first Premier League for Chelsea against Southampton in the Saturday’s fixture.
The striker had just had a flicked header ruled out for offside, but as Southampton breathed a sigh of relief the forward kept hunting, and moments later found himself on the edge of the box with the ball after a gorgeous turn.
The defenders looked to have closed him out, but a determined run round the outside of their formation bought him the space to shoot, and he made no mistake, driving the ball back across goal in his typical style.
