Manchester City defender Tosin Adarabioto is ready to switch allegiance to Nigerian after representing England at the age grade levels.
The lanky defending is rated as one of the best talents in England and Manchester City have linked him to their former Captain Vincent Kompany.
Adarabioyo was born in England to Nigerian father who moved to England in the early 80s, he graduated from the Manchester City famous academy that also produced Phil Foden.
Reports in England have it that young defender is awaiting FIFA clearance to complete his switch of nationality, after deciding against representing the three lions at the international level.
Reports from Queen’s Country said that, Adarabioyo has accepted to play for the Super Eagles and once he’s cleared by FIFA, he will become the latest player to join up with the Super Eagles, despite playing for England.
The 22-year-old, who has English mother is currently on loan at Sky Bet Championship club Blackburn Rovers and he has scored twice in 27 league appearances for Blackburn Rovers. Meanwhile Nigeria is stepping up the chase to secure Bukayo Saka who has been in excellent form for the Gunners.
Saka who has scored three goal ls this season and assisted 12 is expected to spark a tug of war between Nigeria and England.
It would be recalled that the likes of Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina decided to switch allegiance to Nigeria from England, while Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham opted to represent England.
