Sempre Inter are linking Chelsea with a move for Andre Onana, the Internazionale goalkeeper who has been a key part of their Champions League success this season.
They say that the Blues are set to “hold talks” with Inter, presumably relating to Romelu Lukaku and other potential business, as well as sounding out their demands for the Cameroon keeper.
After a bit of a dodgy start, Onana has certainly come back from his long drugs ban with some good moments, but if we had the choice we would prefer his counterpart across the city. AC Milan’s Mike Maignan has been a goalkeeping star this season and already looks like one of the best around. The two will face off in the Champions League semi finals in a few weeks.
Maignan wouldn’t come cheap however, and we’ve been stung so badly spending big on goalkeepers that we might decide we don’t want to take the risk.
