Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has admitted that he is leaving Enzo Fernandes out of his team, because Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo are forming a midfield partnership that is giving his team better balance
Speaking ahead of facing Manchester United, Maresca said: “First of all it’s a matter of balance. I think in this moment Romeo [Lavia] and Moi [Caicedo], they give us also physicality, strength in the middle, and this is the reason why we put the option Malo [Gusto] in the pocket, otherwise when we play with Enzo.
“I know that you are looking for some different reason for Enzo, but for Enzo it’s very simple, he’s not playing in this moment, we have so many games, he’s going to play for sure in the future, now he’s not going to, he’s not playing, that doesn’t man that he’s not going to play in two days.”
