Manchester United hosts Chelsea at Old Trafford in the English Premier League on Sunday. The game is coming in just a few days after a very impressive display against Leicester City in the Carabao Cup. Although Leicester City made a lot of changes in their starting lineup, United were dominant throughout the game.
Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes scored a brace, while the likes of Ugarte, Lisandro Matinez, and Gernacho produced a very brilliant display to make sure they advanced to the competition's quarter-finals, where they will face Tottenham Hotspur.
Alongside a very poor start to the season, Manchester United are also facing an injury crisis, with the likes of youngster Kobbie Mainoo, Leny Yoro still sidelined, while Mason Mount, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Harry Maguire are also in the treatment room.
Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo are still recovering from their thigh and knee injuries respectively, and according to reports, both players could be available again for selection in mid-November. The same goes with Leny Yoro who continues to work hard and gradually, returning to team training after his foot surgery.
Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw are still sidelined, and their return dates are yet to be revealed. Malacia has been training with the squad for over a month now, but Shaw suffered another setback in his recovery.
