The panel of the English Premier League has finally unveiled the official team of the week for match-week 5. The players on each position were voted in by the fans due to their incredible displays in this match-week.
In my view, The eleven players that made the official team of the week fully deserves it due to their blistering performances for their respective clubs.
Here is the official English Premier League team of the week
Goalkeeper
The Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson who recorded numerous saves during their home draw against Manchester United made the list.
Center backs
The Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate who recorded an assist during their 3 - 0 win over Bournemouth made the list and was paired alongside Manchester Ciy’s Manuel Akanji and Wolves’ Yah Mosquera in the center-back position.
Defensive Midfielder
The Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo who was instrumental for his club was named in the defensive-midfield position.
Attacking Midfielders
The duo of James Maddison and Youri Tielemans who both recorded one goal and one assist for their respective clubs were paired together in the central-midfield position.
Wide Midfielders
The Liverpool winger Luis Diaz who recorded two goals during their home victory over Bournemouth was named in the right-midfield position while his fellow teammate Mohamed Salah was named as left midfielder.
Attackers
The Tottenham Hotspur attacker Heung-Min-Son who recorded one goal and one assist during their comeback victory over Brentford made the list and was paired alongside Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson who also grabbed two goals in attack.
