CHE 5-0 BRW: Christopher Nkunku should be given more play time than Jackson

Chelsea played their first game in the EFL Cup today when they hosted Barrow FC at the Stamford Bridge Stadium on Tuesday evening. The West Londoners came out with an outstanding performance in the game as they secured a massive 5-0 victory over the visiting team. Christopher Nkunku's hattrick with goals from Pedro Neto and Paul Farman (own goal) made sure Chelsea progressed to the next round of the competition effortlessly.

Christopher Nkunku was without any doubt one of Chelsea's best players in this match as he performed incredibly against Barrow. The French International made himself a serious threat to the opposition's defense line by scoring three beautiful goals to aid Chelsea's win in this match.

Based on my opinion, Christopher Nkunku has shown that he is deserving of the same playing time Nicolas Jackson gets at the club. Despite not being a regular starter, the French International has managed to score six goals in his eight appearances for Chelsea all competitions this season. I believe it's high time Enzo Maresca starts giving him equal playing time as Nicolas Jackson at the club. In my opinion, he has a better goalscoring ability than Nicolas Jackson who has constantly been criticized for his poor finishing ability for the Blues.
