Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen's agent Calenda has revealed the truth around the Napoli star transfer.
Napoli agreed €65m with Saudi club, Al Ahli to sign Osimhen but no greenlight on the player side as the deal collapse.
According to Romano Fabrizio, "The agreement between Napoli and Al Ahli for package in excess of €65m is almost done, pending small details.
A lot speculations and rumours surrounding Osimhen transfer this summer as he doesn't want to go to Saudi, and his agent said he "(Victor) still haveore to do in Europe".
"But NO agreement with Osimhen so far as Nigerian striker wants an important salary + KEY DETAIL: release clause to be included".
Chelsea interested to sign Napoli striker but they ask him to reduce his salary which he said no, what has been causing setbacks on his move to West London club.
Victor Osimhen’s agent Calenda: “Victor is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets”.
“Victor still has so much to do IN EUROPE”.
“Osimhen is a Napoli player, with a contract recently renewed with mutual satisfaction”.
“He made history and when there were major offers (also this year) we always accepted the club's decisions”.
“Victor was elected African footballer of the year, 8th at the Ballon d'Or. There is need for respect and balance" he said.
Base on Calenda's comment we can deduced that Victor want good offer from Big club in Europe without cutting his salary, the latest update now is Chelsea have resume their negotiations with Napoli to seal the deal before the deadline day.
