How Enzo Maresca will lineup Chelsea against Real Madrid

The much anticipated friendly between Chelsea and Real Madrid on Tuesday in Charlotte will include Filip Jorgensen, the new signing for the Blues, looking to make his debut.

The former Villarreal goalkeeper, who played for Los Blancos in La Liga, was not used as a substitute in Saturday's 4-2 loss to Manchester City. He had previously made his Blues debut off the bench against America.

Given that Enzo Maresca has made several cuts and changes throughout the preseason, Jorgensen has every reason to be positive about starting on Tuesday after Robert Sanchez let up four goals against the Premier League winners.

The backline will probably still consist of Reece James and Levi Colwill, but Ben Chilwell and Benoit Badiashile may be starting over Malo Gusto and Tosin Adarabioyo—the latter of whom did not perform well against Man City. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Enzo Fernandez could play together in the deeper midfield positions because Moises Caicedo was also responsible for Erling Haaland's second of three goals after his return from a post-Copa America vacation. Alongside Mykhaylo Mudryk and Christopher Nkunku, Dewsbury-Hall began the game in the final third on Saturday. The Frenchman may continue in that capacity, but Noni Madueke, Raheem Sterling, and Marc Guiu are prepared to deliver some additional legs.
