The panel of the English Premier League has finally unveiled the official team of the week for match-week 2. The players on each position were voted in by the fans due to their incredible performance in this match-week.
In my view, The eleven players that made the official team of the week fully deserves it due to their brilliant performances for their respective clubs.
Here is the official English Premier League team of the week
Goalkeeper
The Arsenal shot-stopper David Raya who kept a clean sheet during their 2 - 0 win over over Aston Villa made the list.
Center backs
The Tottenham Hotspur defender Christian Romero who recorded a goal during their home victory over Everton made the list and was paired alongside West Ham United’s Max Kilman in the center-back position.
Full backs
The duo of Pedro Porro and Andrew Robinson who were both instrumental for their respective clubs were named in the full-backs position.
Central Midfielders
The Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer who recorded one goal and three assists during their massive victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers made the list and was paired alongside Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne who also recorded a goal against Ipswich Town.
Wide Midfielders
The Chelsea winger Noni Madueke who recorded three goals during their 6 - 2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers was named in the right-midfield position while Liverpool’s Luis Diaz who recorded one goal during their home victory over Brentford was named as left midfielder.
Attackers
The Manchester City striker Erling Haaland who grabbed three goals during their comeback victory over Ipswich Town made the list and was paired alongside Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-Min-Son who also recorded two goals against Everton.
