Chelsea still have a job to do if they are to secure their place in European football for this season.

The Blues will line-up for the second leg of their qualifying tie against Servette to finalise their position in the Conference League for next season.

Enzo Maresca got his first competitive win as a Chelsea manager in the 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge last week, and it would take a serious collapse for the Blues to not come through the tie.

Maresca has confirmed Reece James won’t be risked at all for the second leg tonight, with him expected at this stage to return after the international break.

With a number of first team stars not actually set to be risked, it looks as if it could be an opportunity for some of the youngsters at the club to make their mark.

Enzo Maresca calls up Harrison McMahon

This opportunity seems to have been handed to 18-year-old Harrison McMahon a place in the matchday squad for the European outing.

The central midfielder can feature in either an attacking or defensive position, meaning he can deputise in a number of areas if required.

Romeo Lavia will not be involved for the Blues after his recent injury woes, with everyone at the club praying that he is not in for the same story as last season.

Marc Guiu could be loaned out

Maresca has not exactly been handing out opportunities for the sake of it to youngsters, however a number of players got their chance in pre-season.

One of those is Marc Guiu, who started in the first leg and has even made his Premier League debut off the bench.

However, Maresca is reportedly open for Guiu to be loaned out for the rest of this season, with reports not ruling out a new striker coming in before the end of the summer transfer window.
