Chelsea receive fresh bid for star player

Premier league side Chelsea have received an offer for one of their strikers but are yet to respond to the offer.

The Blues are willing to cut down the number of players in their first-team squad this summer and are pushing for more exits. The West London club have already sanctioned the sale of Conor Gallagher. Though the deal is at the brink of collapsing, but there are talks it could still go through.

According to Daily Mail, there are three first-team stars Chelsea wants to part ways with. They are Trevoh Chalobah, Armando Broja and Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku is a reported target for Italian Serie A side Napoli and according to Gianluca di Marzio - in Italian, the club have now made an offer worth €25m (£21.4m) plus €5m (£4.3m) in bonuses for the Belgium striker.

Lukaku is willing to rejoin Antonio Conte at Napoli and has reportedly agreed personal terms with the club. However, he will have to wait till Chelsea and Napoli reach an agreement concerning his transfer fee.

Also, Crystal Palace are monitoring the situation of Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, and will look to make an offer if the Englishman becomes available - as revealed by South London Press.

Though he is not one of those that have been asked to leave the club, the 20-year-old could struggle for game time this season due to the number of players Chelsea current have at their disposal. However, nothing is official yet, but a good offer could tempt the Blues into selling the midfielder.
