Crystal Palace want Trevoh Chalobah but he could end up staying at Stamford Bridge if the Blues manage to sell Axel Disasi according to The Athletic.
Chelsea are set to be one of the busiest clubs in the final few days of the window as they look to move on as many as seven players, whilst they are still in the market for a new striker.
The Blues needs to find new homes for the likes of Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell and Armando Broja amongst others and face a race against the clock to find solutions.
Chalobah could stay if Disasi leaves
Chelsea have made it clear to Chalobah he isn’t part of the plans and the 25-year-old has been training in a group away from the first team after being left out the squad for the pre-season tour of America.
The defender had his number 14 shirt given to new signing Joao Felix, but it appears he isn’t any closer to leaving the club with just a few days of the window remaining.
Chalobah still has four years remaining on his deal after signing a new long term contract less than two years ago and Chelsea are believed to want around £25-£30m for the versatile defender who can also play at right back and in defensive midfield.

Chelsea are thought to value Chalobah between £25-£30m.
The Athletic have reported that Palace want Chalobah but in a shock turn of events they claim he could end up staying at the club if the Blues sell Disasi with Newcastle said to be interested in the Frenchman.
Disasi only joined the club last summer from Monaco and featured 44 times in all competitions in his debut season but it seems he’s not a big part of Maresca’s plans and it feels like if an acceptable offer came in Chelsea would be open to letting him go.
It really would be quite some turnaround if Chalobah remains at the club and is reintegrated into the first team squad, and with Chelsea seemingly nothing can be ruled out.
Chalobah has come through the ranks at the club and was arguably the Chelsea’s best defender after he returned to the side in the second half of the season following injury.
The defender played a key role as Chelsea had a strong end to last season and secured a top six finish which saw them return to European football.
