How Enzo Maresca should lineup against Celtic to pick his first win for Chelsea

Chelsea are preparing for another pre-season friendly as they continue their preparations for the upcoming Premier League campaign.

Following a 2-2 draw against Wrexham, new manager Enzo Maresca is keen to secure his first win when his team faces Celtic tomorrow night.

The recent match saw almost every available player getting 45 minutes on the pitch. This game against Celtic provides another chance for the players to make an impression and stake their claim for a regular spot in the starting lineup.

In goal, Robert Sanchez will continue as the first-choice goalkeeper amid ongoing discussions about potentially signing Filip Jorgensen.

On the right side of the defense, Malo Gusto is expected to start again, possibly maintaining his position rather than switching roles. Tosin Adarabioyo is set to begin as the right center-back, striving to solidify his place in the team.

Levi Colwill will likely feature centrally in a three-man defense, a role he aims to occupy in the forthcoming season. At left-back, Renato Veiga is anticipated to make his debut, offering versatility with his ability to invert.

Midfield duties will see Romeo Lavia continuing in his role after a solid performance in the last game. Meanwhile, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, having recovered from a minor injury, is expected to bring his attacking prowess to the midfield.

Christopher Nkunku, who showed promise against Wrexham, will be looking to build on his performance. Noni Madueke, who had a quieter game previously, will aim to have a greater impact from the right wing this time around.

On the left, Mykhailo Mudryk is set to make his first pre-season appearance, tasked with creating opportunities. Leading the attack, Marc Guiu, who impressed the fans during his debut, will look to replicate his strong showing against Celtic.
