Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has reportedly chosen Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) over Chelsea as his transfer deal nears completion. Chelsea has shown interest in Osimhen, aiming to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season. Despite ongoing contact between Chelsea and the striker, his £110 million release clause poses a significant hurdle.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that negotiations between PSG and Osimhen’s representatives are advancing well, with the player keen to join the Ligue 1 champions. Earlier this year, Osimhen hinted at a potential move, expressing his future plans.
In January, during the Africa Cup of Nations, Osimhen told CBS Sports: “I already know what I want to do with my career. I’ve been making my own decisions, and everything has been working out well for me. My plan is clear, and I want to finish the season strong before finalizing my decision.”
