Aston Villa attacking midfielder Omari Kellyman has joined Chelsea after completing his medical tests, according to Fabrizio Romano on Facebook.
The 18-year-old player has signed a contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2030 with an option for a further year. Chelsea will also pay a £19 million fee to Aston Villa, and the move will be made official this week.
Upon the move, Kellyman is expected to become a part of the Blues' senior team and compete for playing time under new head coach Enzo Maresca when the season starts.
The England U-20 player made 12 appearances in the Premier League 2 and scored 7 goals. He also made a total of 3 appearances for Aston Villa's senior team in the Premier League and the EFL Cup.
The move will offer Kellyman a great chance to grow in a highly competition environment and probably cement his place in one of EPL's top teams.
