Conor Gallagher speaks on Chelsea exit after Euro 2024

.

England midfielder Conor Gallagher has spoken expressly to the media in his latest interview ahead of the EURO 2024 tournament in Germany. He gave his comment on his potential exit from Chelsea.

Gallagher has been linked with an exit from Chelsea and the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United are reportedly interested in getting him. The central midfielder had a good season with Chelsea in the concluded campaign as he guided them to finish sixth on the league table and as runners-up in the Carabao Cup. He is expected to retain his place in Enzo Maresca's team next season despite Mauricio Pochettino's departure.

However, as gathered from Fabrizio Romano on X, Connor Gallagher responded to the rumour of his potential exit from Chelsea ahead of EURO 2024 when he said: “Full focus on the Euros. I couldn't be happier with the position I'm in. It was sad to see Pochettino go. He’s done so much for me, but I’m excited about the new manager coming in and working with him."
