Chelsea star Cole Palmer is confident that England can go on to win the Euros in Germany.
England are among the favourites for this Euros, but they have failed to win anything in a long time. The Three Lions have never won the Euros and only lifted the World Cup once. Cole Palmer is ready to change that.
“To be part of the England team out in Germany is mad,” Cole Palmer told the official Chelsea app ahead of the Three Lions’ opening Euro 2024 game against Serbia.
“Looking back on this time last year, I was sat on the bench. Now I get the chance to help my country.
“To score against Bosnia last week was special. I was worried I had double-hit the penalty! But to get my first goal was a good feeling and my family were in the crowd too.
“I really think we can win the Euros. We have an amazing team with some of the best players in the world. I think we have a good chance.”
