Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi is wanted by Chelsea this summer, according to the latest transfer rumours.
Chelsea are about to lose a number of players over the course of the summer transfer window, and the club will need to delve into that transfer kitty and sign players that can make an immediate impact.
According to the Daily Express, the England international would cost around £60million and is a player that the CHELSEA board are very much interested in signing over the course of the window.
Guehi is part of the Three Lions’ provisional squad for Euro 2024 after returning from a knee injury and The 23-year-old has two years remaining on his deal at Selhurst Park
The likes of Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise have also been linked with moves away – but boss Oliver Glasner recently claimed that he is hopeful they will stay in south London.
“That’s always the challenge for a club like us,” he told Sky Sports when asked about potential outgoings.
“But I know the club is working hard to keep all the players and what we could do is show them that we are ambitious and where the journey can go, that they can play their football, they can express themselves and they can show all their qualities.
“We can also laugh together and have fun on the training grounds and in games.
“This is what we show them and we’ll see what happens, but I think Crystal Palace with these fans and this team is a good place for them to stay.”
