However, Chelsea might have to sell players before adding new ones in order to stay under the Premier League’s profit and sustainability guidelines.

Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea is presently unwilling to pay Athletic Bilbao’s asking price for forward Nico Williams.
The Spaniard, who is presently representing his country at Euro 2024, is a target for the Blues, but Bilbao insists that the player’s release clause be paid in full upfront.
According to Romano, the Blues’ desire has been stifled by Bilbao’s demand that the majority of Williams’ £49 million release clause be paid upfront.
In addition to Bilbao’s demands, Romano claims that Williams’ wage demands are too high for the Blues.
Williams, who attended the Spanish team’s development academy, has made 26 assists and scored 20 goals in 122 senior games.
Chelsea was also interested in the winger last summer, and it seems that they are still interested.
Although Williams can play in many different offensive positions, his primary position is on the left wing.
