Report according to a news outlet GiveMeSport, has claimed that Chelsea incoming manager Enzo Maresca, is set to battle Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou over the signing of 25 years old England international this summer.
Both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are in the market for a new attacker this summer. And 25 years old Eberechi Oluchi Eze is high up in their list of targets.
The 20 years old England international Eberechi Oluchi Eze, has really impressed this season at Crystal Palace. He successfully bagged in 11 goals and 6 assists for Crystal Palace this season. And he has caught the attention of European clubs like Chelsea, Tottenham and Man United.
However, Crystal Palace will not make the signing of Eze an easy task for the two cubs, who have declared their interest in the English attacker.
The report also claimed that Crystal Palace are keen to retain the service of their attacker for the upcoming season. As they don't want to loose one of their best player.
Crystal Palace has placed a £60million release clause on the player for any interested club.
It was claimed that Eze signed a contract with Crystal Palace back in November 2023, which will see him to summer of 2027. This has now put Crystal Palace in a position to control the price tag on the England international.
Nonetheless, Eze will be a perfect addition to the Chelsea squad if a contract deal is agreed. And this will be a good news for the Chelsea fans if I'm not mistaken.
