Reports have claimed that Chelsea are going to go all out to complete one signing when the summer transfer window rolls about.
According to Caught Offside, the Blues are going to concentrate all their efforts on bringing in a striker, with Victor Osimhen being the name they are targeting.
Osimhen has been widely reported to be the club’s top target for a number of months now as they look to address the issue of a regular goalscorer in the number nine position.
It was reported that they may make an attempt to bring him in during the recent January transfer window, however the recently signed new contract at Napoli made this near enough impossible to pull off.
Left in a tricky position as to whether they should strengthen the role in the short or long term, the Blues instead made the decision to sign no one in January, and if anything made the position weaker by deciding to loan Armando Broja down the road to Fulham.
There have been a number of names also reportedly on the list to bring in at the end of the season, with Viktor Gyokeres one of the players they have been monitoring.
Chelsea all in for Osimhen
The Sweden international is currently the top scorer in Europe, and looks as if he would be a serious addition to any elite side.

However, reports have now stated that they are still completely all in for Osimhen, and this will see all their efforts put there first when the window opens again.
It seems like the striker role is not the only one they need to add to in order to compete as early as next season.
With Thiago Silva likely to be on the move, a new centre-back will likely be on the agenda to potentially bring some experience to a youthful backline.
