Chelsea FA Cup quarter final opponent confirmed

Chelsea returned to winning ways as they claimed a 3-2 win over Leeds United at Stamford Bridge. Meanwhile, they will be looking forward to their next opponent in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Chelsea made a poor start to the game as Mateo Joseph scored the opener after pouncing on a mistake from Chelsea's defence. Nicolas Jackson pulled one back for Chelsea to draw them level. A goal from Mykhailo Mudryk gave Chelsea the lead before halftime. Mateo Joseph scored his second goal to draw the game level then Conor Gallagher scored the winner at stoppage time to steal the victory for Chelsea.

The win was a big relief for Mauricio Pochettino because the game could have headed to a penalty shootout. Thanks to Gallagher's late goal.

However, according to AbsoluteChelsea via X, Chelsea will play Leicester City in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. The game will take place at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea will be looking forward to that game because winning the FA Cup is also their target for this season
