Manchester United vs LASK Linz Lineup and Team News

Manchester United vs LASK Linz Lineup and Team News. Red Devils continue their Europa League campaign tomorrow night. Ahead of the clash, it’s time for our all-important predicted Man United XI vs LASK line up.

Changes will be made for this one, that’s obvious. United have a 5-0 advantage and it’d be silly to risk injuries to first-team regulars. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has an opportunity to utilise his squad, while possibly offering a full debut to an emerging star; Teden Mengi.

Unfortunately, I think Mengi will be the only debutant, though we could see the likes of James Garner, Dylan Levitt and Ethan Laird on the bench, ready to play their part if needs be.

For now, though, let’s get right into the starting line-up and see what Solskjaer is working with…

Sergio Romero will get his long-awaited chance in between the sticks. Unfortunately, even if he has an absolute blinder, there’s no way he’ll remain first-choice shot-stopper in the later rounds of the competition.

Eric Bailly has now had plenty of time to recover from his head clash and he’ll be fit and ready to play in this one. Alongside him is the aforementioned Mengi, who’ll be handed a full debut after a mightily impressive season with the youth side. Diogo Dalot gets a rare start on the right, with Timothy Fosu-Mensah playing as the left-back.

Scott McTominay needs minutes and he’ll sit at the midfield’s base. Fred will also play, as will Jesse Lingard as United look to drum up interest in the Englishman.

Odion Ighalo will start here. Daniel James will play off the left-hand flank with Juan Mata opposite.

The bench will be jam-packed with a mix of first-team faces and young up-and-comers. I doubt they’ll be needed to secure a result, though they will play late on as Solskjaer looks to keep his players fresh.
