Leverkusen boss Bosz agrees on Kai Havertz joining Chelsea after he scored his sendforth goal for his club

Bayern Leverkusen’s Head Coach, Peter Bosz reportedly agreed on Kai Havertz joining Chelsea after their Europa league loss to Inter Milan. With great joy, the coach mentioned English side, Chelsea, as Kai’s next club.

The former Heracles coach said he believes Kai Havertz will leave the club but the name he mentioned afterwards caught many by surprise. Reporters were expecting him to call the expected name when he talked about a definite move for Kai Havertz, but he jokingly mentioned Heracles Almelo (the Dutch side he has managed two times in his managerial career).

Leverkusen’s season came to an end yesterday, thanks to Antonio Conte’s men who crashed them out of the competition. Barella and Romelu Lukaku both scored in the early stages of the game to give Inter Milan the much needed momentum. However, it never stopped Havertz from showing his class, as he grabbed a possible “goodbye” goal to give his side the hope of grabbing an equaliser.
The reaction from Havertz after the goal generated mixed feelings. Some fans believe Havertz’ mind is right in London but has his body playing the game. While some believe he was not pleased with the performance of the side before the goal came in. However, Havertz has never hidden his interest to play for London side, Chelsea.
Chelsea is in pole position to sign the 21-year-old German sensational attacker who has agreed a five year contract with the side. Leverkusen’s Europa league exit will be a boost for Chelsea to quickly land the lad. Leverkusen’s has placed an outrageous 90 million pounds valuation on the player, and they don’t seem ready to listen to a bargain from Chelsea. Chelsea on the other hand is looking for a “COVID-19 price” in order to seal a deal for Havertz. The pandemic has affected the financial buoyancy of top clubs, and every deal will only be met with considerable fee.

However, one set of fans that will be interested in the game are Chelsea fans. Its no news that the Blues are close to signing Leverkusen star player Kai Havertz, but the longer Leverkusen stay in the competition, the longer it would take for the deal to be completed.

Hence, Chelsea FC fans probably selfishly want Inter to take the win, so they can secure Havertz as soon as possible. And fans noticed a gesture which suggests Havertz has his mind set on a Chelsea move.

With Bayer 2-0 down, they were in the attack and Havertz exchanged passes with a teammate, before firing through the legs of Handanovic in the Inter goal to make it 2-1. But after scoring, Havertz did not bother to celebrate, and fans have reacted saying ‘his mind is already in London’.

Meanwhile fans also praised him for the goal, as well as his performance:

It seems Havertz’ is going to be a Chelsea player next season. When the deal will be sealed is just what is unknown.
