A really good news to Chelsea fans earlier today is the Club’s latest news on Bayer Leverkusen‘s midfielder, Kai Havertz.

Reports across Germany (Source, Sky Germany) has hinted that Chelsea FC have agreed terms with the Bundesliga side to sign their long-term transfer target, Kai Havertz.

According to sources, Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia has led a successful talk with the Bundesliga side over the signing of the prolific young midfielder.

The English News Reports (Mirror) has earlier today reported that Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen have agreed on negotiations talks over the €90m transfer of Kai Havertz with the source hinting that the Personal terms have already been agreed.

Confidential source leaked a Tweet of one the Chelsea’s top player who wrote “For anyone still nervous about Kai Havertz – it’s widely known personal terms are done. Kai is very keen to join, and is pushing Leverkusen for the move.

All that’s left is to agree a fee. We want to pay €90m, they want nearer €100m. Negotiations are underway”

Kai Havertz has reportedly reached out to Chelsea stars Timo Werner and Antonio Rudiger ahead of an expected move to Chelsea this summer. The German has supposedly contacted his international team-mates for information about his prospective new club as the Blues look to sign him with the Club expected to make an official announcement next week.

Havertz is described to be one of the technically gifted midfielders, he is a two-footed midfielder who is comfortable with the ball on either foot and adept with his head. During his formative years, his style of play drew early comparisons to compatriot Mesut Özil, with Havertz himself admitting the Arsenal midfielder was a player he looked up to.

Born in Aachen, Germany, Havertz received his first experience in football at the age of four when he joined amateur side Alemannia Mariadorf.

Havertz became the club’s then youngest-ever debutant in the Bundesliga when he made his first ever debut for Leverkusen in the year 2016, and he became their youngest-ever goalscorer when he scored his first goal the following year. He is also the youngest player to reach the milestones of 50 and 100 league appearances in the German top flight.

Chelsea signing the 21 year old will make the London side a more competitive team to challenge for the EPL Trophy next season..
