Timo Werner arrives London ahead of Chelsea vs Wolves

Timo Werner is set to be a Chelsea player for the 2020/21 campaign and the Germany international has finally landed in London.

The 24-year-old is preparing for action ahead of the 2020/21 campaign

The Blues wrapped up the deal for the 24-year-old last month and with the Bundesliga season having wrapped up, Werner has been on his holidays.

Werner has decided not to play for RB Leipzig in the rest of the Champions League campaign, instead choosing to train with his new side over August.

And ahead of the Blues’s crunch Premier League game with Wolverhampton Wanderers this afternoon, Werner has finally arrived in London.

Due to the Eredivisie campaign having been cancelled early, fellow new signing Hakim Ziyech has already been at Cobham for a couple of weeks and has trained with the Blues.

Werner will go through his own pre-season at the training ground before linking up with his new teammates.

The Germany international will be hoping that his new side can pick up a point against Wolves at Stamford Bridge today, which would guarantee Champions League football for next season.
