Jubril OKEDINA, Tottenham Hotspur defender sets to pledge future for Nigeria and play for Super Eagles in future alongside his with teammate Joshua Oluwayemi

The Score Nigeria reports that, Jubrik Okdeina was born in England London on October 26, 2000 (19), he joined his teammates Joshua Oluwayemi to present Nigeria in future.
The 19-year-old will be able to play for Nigeria as which he has successfully switch his allegiance to Nigeria.

Defender Jubril Okedina has now stepped up to Under-23 level after an impressive second season with our Under-18s in 2018/19.

A strong and technical centre-half, he produced a number of good performances at right-back during that campaign, including in the first ever match to be played at our new stadium as our Under-18s toppled Southampton 3-1 in a Test Event in March, 2019. That was one of 16 Under-18 Premier League appearances he made – his only goal was a memorable one, a great effort in a 3-2 home win over Arsenal in November, 2018.

Jubril also made four appearances in the Under-18 Premier League Cup, two in the FA Youth Cup, a late substitute appearance against PAOK in our UEFA Youth League play-off round victory in Greece in February, 2019, and a 90-minute stint on his Under-23s debut against Brighton in the Premier League 2 that same month. He was also named on the bench as our Development Squad took on Oxford United’s senior side in the EFL Trophy in December, 2018.
