Chelsea transfer news all-round this summer

The Morocco international has already agreed to join the Blues this summer, with his £33.4m transfer from Ajax set to officially be completed on July 1, 2020.

The fans have revealed the starting XI dream team for the next season as they lineup the players that Chelsea’s boss Frank Lampard expected to bring to the Bridge on July transfer market.

Ziyech’s former teammate at Heerenveen, Alfred Finnbogason, says that the Blues’ strikers should find it easy to gel with the playmaker otherwise they are not good enough.

“Oh my god,” Finnbogason told De Telegraaf when asked about Ziyech. “And I already knew he was good, didn’t I. But what he has shown in recent years is not normal.

“If you don’t click with Ziyech, you are not a good striker.

“All you have to do is move. He gives the balls exactly the way you want them to be.

“Without a doubt, the Premier League will be a big test for him.

“Players are better and more aggressive, but see what he has already shown at Ajax with his qualities in the Champions League. ‘He is something special and will be a big signing for Chelsea.

“The pressure will be great, but he can deliver. He is no longer a young boy either, knows how it works.”

Jadon Sancho has attracted Lampard’s interest as the next player expecting in Chelsea this summer window.

The 20-year-old has had a sensational 2019/20 Bundesliga campaign for Borussia Dortmund, netting 14 goals and adding another 15 assists.

The young winger made the switch from Manchester City to Germany in 2017 and since then has gone on to another level.

Sancho has become an England regular and is now tipped to return to the Premier League, with both Chelsea and Manchester United keen on him.

Chelsea is interested in signing Philippe Coutinho on loan with the Blues prepared to pay his entire salary, according to reports. The Brazil midfielder has struggled for form since completing a £142million transfer to Barcelona from Liverpool in January 2018 and is currently on loan at Bayern Munich.

Chelsea could secure one of the transfers of the summer if the rumors are to be believed.

The Blues are in the market for a new striker this summer and have been linked to plenty in the past, with the likes of Timo Werner, Moussa Dembele, Edinson Cavani, and Dries Mertens all previously linked.

Some of those players remain targets, but there is another name who has popped up in recent days – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The striker, who has been a revelation for the Blues’ London rivals Arsenal since joining from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018, is out of contract at the Emirates next summer, meaning he only has one year left on his contract before he can leave on a free.

Taking him across London would be something of a coup for Chelsea, but the Gunners may try to cash in before they lose him for nothing next year.

But if Chelsea does snare him this summer, which shirt number could he wear?
